The
Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) is the embodiment
of the Church’s preferential option for the poor and
outcast. In this new millennium, we must affirm our commitment
to empower those in need and build strong communities where
hope can flourish.
The
CCHD Appeal Sunday is an opportunity to renew our faith commitment
to empower those in need. At the very least, it is a teachable
moment.
