Pastoral Planning for the New Millennium:  Phase Two (PPNM2) is the second phase of comprehensive pastoral planning for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester.  The first phase was implemented between 1997 and 1999 and resulted in five year pastoral plans for the 200 parishes and faith communities of the Diocese organized into 35 planning groups.  Details on that process can be found in the Archives.  The actual plans, the Bishop's response, and progress reports can be accessed from the Planning Group page.

PPNM2 maintains the same structural approach, with 36 planning groups covering all parishes and faith communities.  The following are resources directly related to the PPNM2 process:

Specific types of information are provided to each planning group as it begins its planning.  These include five and ten year projections of priests by planning group, a letter from Bishop Clark reviewing past accomplishments and future issues, and a set of staff generated configuration scenarios to assist in the process.  These can be viewed for each group active in planning on the Planning Group page.   (An active link indicates that specific information has been posted and can be viewed.)
