Coordinated by Catholic Charities, supports and encourages life-affirming efforts across the 12 counties of the Diocese of Rochester. These efforts are carried on by parishes, schools, agencies and organizations that work for justice and for the elimination of violence in all its forms. An annual gala--- the Celebration for Life --- benefits the Consistent Life Ethic Grant Fund and recognizes Vita Award winners. The 2007 Celebration for Life will be a luncheon with Bishop Clark to be held on May 8, 2007 at the Bishop Hickey Conference Center, 1150 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624. 

A broad base of donors is needed to reach the annual goal and to expand future funding for worthwhile activities such as those above. You can lend your support with a tax deductible donation. Send donations payable to:

The 2007 Consistent Life Ethic Grant Fund Application.   As you will note on the form, all applications for grants must be postmarked no later than March 15, 2007.  Grant awards will be announced May 1, 2007. 

Previous Recipients

The 2005-2006 Consistent Life Ethic Grant Report.  Please return the form with your Grant application.  Although you may not be t applying for a grant this year, please return the completed Grant Report to me if you received 2006 –2006 funds.

The 2007 Vita Award Nomination Form.  Please return no later than March 15, 2007.  The Award recipients will be recognized at a luncheon with Bishop Clark to be held on May 8, 2007 at the Bishop Hickey Conference Center, 1150 Buffalo Road, Rochester, NY 14624.  Additional information will be released in the near future.
