A one-on-one ministry to those returning from prison

Training and support:

Mentors will receive training and support in developing their relationship with inmates/ex-offenders.   There is a mandatory eight-hour pre-service training session to acquaint the mentor with policies, procedures, techniques and limitations in the mentoring process.  All training is performed by experienced staff members, who will answer any questions or concerns of the mentors.  Monthly follow-up training and support.
