
PRIEST TO RETURN TO ACTIVE MINISTRY
AFTER ACQUITTAL ON ALL CHARGES
Rochester, NY (July 20) -- Rev. Peter Enyan-Boadu has been found not guilty of all charges after a bench trial in Brockport. Father Peter, who had requested a leave while the court proceedings were being resolved, will return to his pastorate at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport in the next few weeks.
Father Peter is a native of Ghana, Africa, where he was ordained a priest in 1984. He came to the United States in 1992. He was incardinated as a priest of the Diocese of Rochester in 1998. Since 1999, he has served as pastor of Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Brockport and, before that, served as assistant pastor at parishes in the city of Rochester’s 19th Ward and Charlotte communities.
Father Peter has requested no media interviews.
