Parish Social Ministry

Catholic Charities is committed to collaborating with parishes to support their ministries to the poor and vulnerable, encourage community engagement and educate parishioners about the rich tradition of Catholic social teaching. Justice and Peace staff work within regional offices to convene parish social ministers and provide training and information on social justice issues.  Justice and Peace personnel staff the Diocesan Public Policy Committee

  
In addition, Justice and Peace staff provides local represention for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) and Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) and reaches out to community and interfaith partners to help build a more just and peaceful world.
