Diocesan Youth Committee
Diocesan Youth Committee Nomination Form
The Diocesan Youth Committee is made up of youth from around the diocese who have participated in a leadership development program such as Foundations and who have discerned with their Youth Minister the responsibility of being a member of the DYC.
The mission of the DYC is to assist in the creation, development, implementation and evaluation of Diocesan events offered for youth. Specifically these events include the:
- Diocesan Youth Convention held in November for 9-12 graders
- Junior High Youth Rally held in the spring for 6-8 graders
- Juniior High Events and Retreats
Diocesan Youth Committee nominations are sought every spring. Youth must be in 9th or 10th grade when nominated and be able to serve for two years.
