*Extended Care Program Assistant - Applications are now being accepted for part time positions as Extended Care Assistant. The assistants will perform the following tasks:  1. Assist with the management of the program to include: supervision of the children in grade Pre-K to 6, organization of activities (snack time, arts/crafts, gym/playground activities, structured homework period); 2. Maintain a positive, nurturing and safe environment for the children; and 3. Interact with the children and their parents or guardians.  Extended Care Assistants work afternoons (M-F, 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm or 6:00 pm depending on program needs). Successful candidates must have experience working with children and references from that experience.

 

All candidates must successfully pass a background check and complete Creating a Safe Environment training.

*Extended Care Program Coordinator - St. Francis de Sales - St. Stephen School is accepting applications for a part-time Coordinator for our extended day program, Monday - Friday from 2:00 to approximately 6:30 PM. The ideal candidate is an energetic, organized individual with a passion for working with children in grades Pre-K - 8th in an academic setting.  He or she must have the ability to develop a variety of programming for different age levels for after school, supervise program assistants, and maintain billing records. Successful candidates will have 60 credit hours in early childhood ed., childhood education, or a related field or two years of comparable work experience such as daycare, camp counseling, etc. and provide references. The coordinator will also work alongside assistants performing the tasks listed below.
