BELL CHOIR

This year St. Mary’s Parish received a donation to purchase a 3-octave handbell set. We hope to start a handbell choir in Fall, 2002, please watch for information in the bulletin. This will be an exciting opportunity for people who like music but feel they can’t sing! Weekly rehearsals will be required.

BEREAVEMENT

The Bereavement committee facilitates a peer support for grieving people in the Canandaigua area. The group provides discussion topics and speakers in a caring,

safe and confidential setting and offer hope to those who are suffering the death of a loved one through shared experiences. The group meets the second Thursday of the month in Dougherty Hall of the church building.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

At the 9AM Sunday Eucharistic celebration, children ages 3 – grade 3 are welcomed to attend a CHILD CHURCH in Dougherty Hall as the rest of the faith community hears

the Scripture and the homily proclaimed. The children have conversation about the day’s Scripture readings on their own level. Children join their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
