3rd Grade Teacher – Long Term Substitute

Mid-April – Beginning of November

Seton Catholic School is seeking a caring, organized, and faith-filled Long-Term Substitute Teacher to serve in our 3rd grade classroom from mid-April through the beginning of November. The ideal candidate will support a positive, structured learning environment while continuing the academic and spiritual formation of our students in partnership with colleagues and families.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with the 3rd grade curriculum in core subject areas
• Maintain a classroom environment that reflects Catholic values and promotes respect, responsibility, and kindness
• Implement lesson plans, assessments, and classroom routines
• Communicate professionally and effectively with school staff and families
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and administration
• Support the social, emotional, and spiritual development of students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Education preferred)
• Previous elementary teaching experience strongly preferred
• Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of Seton Catholic School
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time, long-term substitute position
• All required diocesan clearances and background checks must be completed prior to employment
