.Fifth Grade English Language Arts, Social Studies and Religion teaching position

St. Joseph School is seeking candidates for a Fifth Grade English Language Arts, Social Studies and Religion teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. The Catholic school teacher is responsible for providing academic instruction and faith formation in alignment with the teachings and values of the Catholic Church. Candidates must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as this position would departmentalize with another 5th grade teacher (Math, Science, Religion). She/he should have strong instructional and classroom management skills and the ability to provide a nurturing learning environment in our Christ-centered school. NYS Childhood certification preferred, with regular professional development to maintain certification. She/he should share our school commitment to partner with families through regular communication and collaboration, to support student success.

Wage range: Can vary depending on experience with a beginning range of: 32-34k annually
