Maintenance Worker

St Michael’s of Newark is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker.

REPORTS TO: Pastor and Finance Director

WAGE: $19.00 – $22 Per hour

NORMAL HOURS: Sunday-Saturday Flexible – possibly one set day weekly/on call as needed

POSITION SUMMARY: St. Michael’s is looking to hire a part-time Maintenance Worker (10-15 hrs. per week).  Expected to perform a variety of tasks to maintain and enhance church as needed. This includes small repairs, maintain the grounds during all seasons (Salting, Shoveling and general lawn care) & regular maintenance duties. The role requires physical labor, the ability to work outdoors in various conditions, and a commitment to providing excellent service. Able to patience to detail, communicate with personnel and basic computer skills.

Typical responsibilities of a maintenance technician are:
