Pastoral Minister

Seeking a full time (35 hour per week) hourly, Pastoral Minister.

Hourly rate of pay (range): $16.00 per hour up to $23.00 per hour.

The Pastoral Minister collaborates with the Pastor/Parochial Administrator and the staff in providing services to the parishes in the areas of RCIA, funeral and bereavement ministry, as well as overseeing the faith formation and sacramental programs for children/youth.  The Pastoral Minister is expected to visible at some Sunday Masses .

Qualification include being an active member of the Roman Catholic Church, certified or currently enrolled in a youth ministry and/or pastoral ministry program recognized by the diocese, with some experience desired, have an in-depth grasp of Church teaching, current pastoral theology and the liturgical norms of the Church, including those of the Diocese of Rochester.
