Second Grade Teacher

St. Rita Catholic School is seeking candidates for a Second-Grade teaching position for the 2025-2026 school year. The Catholic school teacher is responsible for providing academic instruction and faith formation in alignment with the teachings and values of the Catholic Church. Candidates must demonstrate excellent instructional skills, strong classroom management and the ability to provide a nurturing learning environment in our Christ-centered school. NYS Childhood or Early Childhood certification preferred, with regular professional development to maintain certification.

Second Grade teacher should have experience in early literacy instruction, aligned with the Science of Reading. She/he should share our school commitment to partner with families through regular communication and collaborate effectively with administration, colleagues and families to support student success.

wage range: can vary depending on experience with a beginning range of: 32-34k annually
