Central Business Office (CBO) West operating out of St. Charles Borromeo Parish
DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS:
Staff Accountant: The Staff Accountant performs a wide range of financial and administrative functions for church/school/cemetery locations. The Staff Accountant position reports to both the Finance Manager and Director.
LIST OF POSSIBLE JOB DUTIES:
- Transportation of materials between the location and the CBO.
- Enter AP Bills/Cut Checks
- Vendor file record keeping (HH, COI, W9, etc.). The parish office will be responsible for the initial attempt to obtain the appropriate documents.
- Form 1099 information collection.
- Revenue entry (Collections, E-Giving, FACTS, Extended Care, etc.)
- Manual journal entries.
- General ledger maintenance.
- Maintaining MIP Accounting System reoccurring and saved functions.
- Mass reconciliations.
- Billing for additional parish/school services (shared payroll, extended care, etc.)
- Information gathering for audits.
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Review of the financial aspects of fundraising planning.
- Review of compliance with counting procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with Diocesan policies and procedures.
- Other administrative or financial tasks that may arise at the parish or business office location.
Classification: Full-Time Non-Exempt – 35 hours per week
Compensation: $25-$27
