St. Francis – St. Stephen School seeking dedicated and passionate teachers to join our faith-filled learning community. We are hiring for the following positions:

• 1st Grade Teacher
• 4th-6th Grade Math and Science Teacher

The ideal candidates will demonstrate strong instructional skills, excellent classroom management, and a commitment to fostering both academic and spiritual growth in students.

1st Grade Teacher Qualifications:

• Certification: Preferred certification in Grades 1-6 (or equivalent).
• Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of literacy and math development in early learners.
• Lesson Planning & Instruction: Ability to design and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

4th-6th Grade Math and Science Teacher Qualifications:

• Certification: Preferred certification in Grades 1-6 (or equivalent).
• Subject Expertise: Strong understanding of math and science instruction for upper elementary students.
• Lesson Planning & Instruction: Ability to develop and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with curriculum standards.

Additional Teacher Requirements:

• Classroom Management: Skilled in creating a nurturing, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with administration, colleagues, and families.
• Faith & Mission: A practicing Catholic is preferred but not required. All candidates should be supportive of the school’s Catholic mission and values.

Teacher Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement dynamic lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and engaging classroom culture.
• Communicate effectively with administration, colleagues, and families to support student success.

Wage:

Starting salary for a full time teacher beginning at 32k – 34k
