Pre K 4 Teacher

St. Louis School in Pittsford, NY is seeking a full-time PreK 4 Teacher for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates should be able to guide a classroom of young children in a variety of educational activities that allow them to explore, learn about, and make sense of their world.

The prime responsibility is to teach students fundamental concepts they need to know for kindergarten, such as identifying numbers and letters, understanding concepts about print and writing, socializing well with others, and working effectively in a classroom structure. Candidates will need to organize and oversee a variety of activities including storytelling, arts and crafts, small group instruction, and free play.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, patient, and compassionate individual who will be capable of inspiring, encouraging, and developing young children, each of whom will have different abilities, challenges, and personalities.

Salary range: $32,000 to $35,000 depending on experience.
