Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, time-management skills and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to engage effectively with students, families, staff, external partners, and support daily school operations.
Job Type:
Full time (35 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and front office communications
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and appointments with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain student attendance records and office documentation
- Maintaining student files and enrollment paperwork
- Managing student information systems
- Manage transportation arrangements and resolve related issues
- Maintain awareness of attendance policies, visitor procedures, student pick-ups, and early dismissals
- Support new student registration and transportation coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office visitors
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and official school documents
- Maintain organized office systems, files, and supplies
- Communicate school policies, procedures, and update staff
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Associate’s degree
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred:
- 2–3 years of experience as an administrative assistant, secretary, or receptionist in a school setting
- Familiarity with office equipment (printers, fax machines, projectors)

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $20–$22.50 per hour (based on education, experience, and work history)
