School Principal

Saint Pius Tenth School is seeking a school principal who is committed to providing quality Catholic education in a Christ-centered, caring, learning atmosphere.  Saint Pius Tenth School offers Pre-School through Grade 5.

The successful candidate will be committed to Catholic Education; is a proven leader; will have extensive experience in the areas of: finance, administration, employee relations, communications, N.Y.S. curriculum and standards while working cohesively with the parents, faculty and students and the parish.  Additionally, familiarity with, or an openness to learning, the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd faith formation methodology is desired.

Qualifications:

1. Current N.Y.S. Teacher Certification (a minimum of 3 years teaching experience).
2. N.Y.S. School Building/Administrator Certifications (a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a school building administrator).
3. Must be an active member of the Catholic Church with the ability to obtain a pastoral letter of recommendation from your parish pastor.
