Parish Openings: Assistant Campus Minster Geneseo Newman Catholic Community – seeking candidates for this part-time (10-15 hours weekly – 10 months) who will be responsible for assisting the Director of Campus Ministry with forming and sustaining the Catholic faith community in a manner that incorporates the principles of “Empowered by the Spirit.” This position will have Liturgical and Programming duties, provide a presence at events sponsored by the community and attend meetings as appropriate. Qualifications include an MA in theology (M.Div. preferred), 2 years experience in the field and Campus Ministry Certification preferred. Liturgy Coordinator - Our Lady of Lourdes is accepting applicants for this part time position (12 hours weekly) to be a presence at weekend liturgies, recruit/oversee training of liturgy ministers/sacristans, participate in the Liturgy committee, have oversight of preparation for weekend/special liturgies, vestments, vessels and environment and with the Pastoral Leader and sacramental ministers, facilitate full, conscious and active parishioner involvement in liturgy. Youth Minister Position at St. Jerome Church, East Rochester - Part-time - We’re looking for an energetic, creative, youth-relatable individual with past youth ministry work experience and at least some formal theological training to run a junior (6th to 8th grade) and senior high (9th to 12th grade) youth program about 18 hours a week (with most of July and August off). Duties would include setting up, running and collaborating events that would include spiritual, social, and service dimensions in helping youth to grow in their understanding and participation in the faith.
