Classroom Teaching Positions

St. Francis deSales – St. Stephen School located in Geneva, NY is seeking caring, organized, and faith-filled classroom teacher applicants to fill vacancies (Kindergarten, 3rd grade and 4th-6th grade math/science) for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will support a positive, structured learning environment while continuing the academic and spiritual formation of our students in partnership with colleagues and families.

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction aligned with the DOR curriculum in core subject areas
• Maintain a classroom environment that reflects Catholic values and promotes respect, responsibility, and kindness
• Implement lesson plans, assessments, and classroom routines
• Communicate professionally and effectively with school staff and families
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and administration
• Support the social, emotional, and spiritual development of students

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (Education preferred)
• Previous elementary teaching experience strongly preferred
• Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of Seton Catholic School
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues

Additional Information:

• Positions are full time classroom teaching positions
• All required diocesan clearances and background checks must be completed prior to employment
