A Participation Challenge

“Together for Catholic Ministries” is a participation challenge to help parishes build upon the CMA’s strong and loyal donor base to increase donor engagement by inviting new supporters, renewing lapsed donors, and growing the number of donor families participating in the CMA. When more parish families support the CMA, a parish’s CMA goal is more easily attained. The ultimate goal is to build a strong foundation of stewardship for the future so that achieving a parish’s CMA goal is not dependent on a small number of donors.

Together for Catholic Ministries features THREE different ways for parishes to earn financial rewards through this challenge!

Based on the final number of donors contributing to CMA24-25, we challenge parishes to increase the number of donors in CMA25-26 by 10%. For example, if you had 100 CMA donors in CMA 24-25, then your goal will be to gain 10 new donors, ending the 25-26 campaign with 110 CMA donors. A single parish could qualify to win all three prizes if they achieve the greatest percentage increase overall, the greatest percentage increase in their size category, and increase their number of donors by 10%!

Donor Count will be based on the number of donor families/households, and not the number of gifts or pledge payments.

Together for Catholic Ministries is an incentive program for parishes and faith communities with assigned CMA goals.

Prizes will be awarded in June 2026, and will be based on final CMA25-26 donor counts as of May 31, 2026.
